Phishing is the act of sending an e-mail to a user while falsely claiming to be an established, legitimate enterprise in an attempt to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft. Petit Jean State Bank would like our customers to know that we would NEVER ask for personal information, such as social security or account numbers in an e-mail message. If you ever receive an e-mail allegedly from PJSB asking for this type of information, you should NOT RESPOND to it and notify us immediately.
